Terms of Service
Rules for using SPUDZWARE Minecraft hosting, the website, and control panel.
Last updated: August 12, 2026 · Applies to spudzware.net and the Spudzware panel.
1. Agreement
By using SPUDZWARE (“we”, “us”, “our”) — including this website, checkout,
Discord support, and the web control panel — you agree to these Terms and our
Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be able to form a binding contract in your region. If you use Spudzware for a
group or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.
2. The service
Spudzware provides Minecraft server hosting and a dashboard to create,
start, stop, and manage game servers (Java and/or Bedrock, plugins, mods, or addons as
offered). Features, plans, and availability may change as we improve the product.
Tacot (tacot.org) is a separate Discord bot product. These Terms cover
Spudzware hosting only, unless we say otherwise.
3. Accounts
Panel access may use Discord login or other methods we enable. You are
responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure.
Provide accurate information when ordered. Do not share your panel login or console access
with people you do not trust. Notify us via Support if you believe
your account was compromised.
4. Plans, payment & billing
Hosting is offered by plan (for example Free, Starter, Pro, Ultra, Network) as shown on
Pricing and checkout. Prices are typically in USD and may change;
changes apply to new periods unless we state otherwise.
Free plan is ad-supported and best-effort: limited RAM, one server, and
advertisements or promotional content in the control panel (and similar surfaces we label).
Free capacity may be throttled, paused, or withdrawn if the host is overloaded or abused.
Paid plans remove free-tier panel ads and unlock higher limits after successful payment.
Payments are processed by Stripe (or another processor we list at checkout).
We do not store full card numbers. Failed, chargebacked, or fraudulent payments may pause
or cancel service.
Unless a plan says otherwise, service is prepaid for the billing period.
Non-payment or expired subscription may stop your server and, after a reasonable grace
period we set, delete server data.
5. Refunds
Because hosting is a digital, immediately usable service, sales are generally
final. We may offer a goodwill refund or credit for serious outages caused by us,
billing errors, or other cases we decide at our discretion. Chargebacks without contacting
support first may result in permanent account closure.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Spudzware to:
- Break the law, or host pirated, stolen, or clearly illegal content
- Violate the Minecraft EULA or Mojang/Microsoft game terms
- Run malware, botnets, crypto miners (unless we explicitly allow a plan for it), or spam
- Attack, scan, or disrupt other networks, players, or our infrastructure
- Abuse Discord, staff, or other customers
- Bypass plan limits, security controls, or payment systems
- Store or distribute child sexual abuse material or other extreme prohibited content
We may suspend or terminate servers and accounts that violate these rules, with or without
notice when we reasonably believe harm is ongoing.
7. Your content & worlds
You keep ownership of your world files, plugins, mods, and configs that you upload or create.
You grant us a limited license to host, back up, and operate that content only as needed to
run the service.
You are responsible for the legality of content on your server and for player behavior on
servers you control. Keep your own offline backups of important worlds — we may offer
backups on paid plans, but they are not a guarantee against all data loss.
8. Availability
We aim for reliable uptime, but hosting is provided “as is” without a
formal SLA unless we sell one in writing. Maintenance, upstream network issues, hardware
failure, or force majeure can interrupt service. We will try to communicate major outages
through Discord or the site when practical.
9. Suspension & termination
You may stop using Spudzware at any time and cancel by following the process we provide
(panel and/or support). We may suspend or terminate for Terms violations, non-payment,
abuse, legal risk, or if we shut down the product.
After termination or non-payment, we may delete server files after a grace period. Export
your worlds before canceling if you need them.
10. Disclaimers & liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spudzware and its operators are not liable for
indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising
from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited
to the amount you paid us for the hosting period in which the claim arose (or USD $50 if
you paid nothing).
Some regions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to
the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use
after changes means you accept the new Terms. For material changes, we may also note them
on the site or in Discord.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms: use Support (Discord) or the contact
method listed on spudzware.net.
